What You Should Focus Most of Your Time On

Inc.com

There are many things competing for our attention on the day-to-day. Things we have to do. Things we want to do. Things other people want us to do. The list goes on.

But what should you focus most of your time on?

I don't know that I have the definitive answer to that question, but here's what I do know: life is about opportunities, not problems. It's about calculated risks and favorable circumstances, not bad luck or perceived misfortune.

And if we know that, we should invest the best hours of our day on the biggest opportunity, not the biggest problem.

What are the best hours of your day? When are you at your best? Who or what gets that time? Does it go to the biggest opportunities in your life, or does it go to your largest problems?

In business, we should put our best people on the biggest opportunity, not the biggest issue.

In sports, we should get our best athletes the ball, not have them be decoys.

In life, we should always be searching for the best opportunity, not focusing on our largest hindrances.

Attack the chances. Go for the gaps. Be all that you were created to be.

Focus your time on the best opportunities that lie before you, not the problems that stand in the way.
